EBS/BLS GRAND OPENING SPECTACULAR RESULTSCongratulations to everyone who entered! We had a lot of fun judging this show, but all your wonderful entries made it hard to judge. It was a very close competition, a matter of one point in two of our classes. You should all be very proud of your efforts. Anyway I am not going to ramble on so without further ado:

Over the course of your stay you are more than welcome to enjoy the facilities such as the cross country course, our arenas, stables and guest quarters for training and comfort. Badger Lodge Stables
Need to draw the horse performing any move in an indoor sand dressage arena with rider.
Need to draw the horse coming in, taking off, mid-air or landing over a jump in a grass outdoor arena with rider.
Need to draw the horse coming in, taking off, mid-air or landing over a jump in the forest with rider.
You can do single images of the dressage, cross country and show jumping or you can put all 3 images into one and that would be counted as 3 images.
Horses should be shown in canter or clearing an obstacle on images.
You may include the fox in your image - but do NOT show riders actually catching it (can be a near catch, but allow the possibility of a miss).
Showing your rider or horse falling will not have any effect on your placement, since you cannot be disqualified with a fall.
All obstacles are made of wood, bushes and other element from nature itself. Feel free to be creative.
The scene for background should be a forest. There might be mountians and hills in the background.
Earthenbrook Stables
Need to draw your horse and rider in a costume. Background has to be in the sand indoor arena
Draw your horse and rider performing a joust with your opponent in a outdoor sand Amphitheatre
Draw your horse and rider performing a move with a sword or spear with your opponent or bow and arrow at a target in a outdoor sand Amphitheatre.
Need to draw your horse in any position. There cannot be any rider or handler apparent. Background has to be in sand indoor arena

Day 1
The weather is clear and bright, slight cloud cover. Temp: 22 Degrees C
8:00am Welcome and event briefing for riders and organisers at Badger Lodge
10:00am Dressage at Badger Lodge in the indoor arena
Day 2
No rain but heavy cloud cover. Temp 21 Degrees C
9:00am Cross country at Badger Lodge on Cross country course
6:00pm Fancy Dress in Earthenbrook’s indoor arena
Day 3
Light drizzle but nothing major. Clears up by afternoon. Temp 24 Degrees C
9:00am Showjumping at Badger Lodge in outdoor arena
5:00pm Liberty at Earthenbrook in the indoor arena. Lighting and water can be provided if wanted for your horse.
Day 4
Clear skies in the morning but slight cloud cover by afternoon. Temp 22 Degrees C
9:00am Fox Hunt at Badger Lodge Stables in the surrounding forest
2:00pm Skill at arms at Earthenbrook in the outdoor amphitheatre
Day 5
Clear skies all day. Temp 23 Degrees C
9:00 am Jousting Tournament at Earthenbrook in the outdoor amphitheatre
5:00pm Debrief at Earthenbrook at the stables followed by dinner in the guest quarters.
